Nexgen Advertising

Nexgen Advertising operates out of 286 Ghatkopar East. It is a busy area and we are right in the middle of all that action. Our space is usually filled with papers, samples, and different bits of work we are trying to get out the door. Ghatkopar is a place where people are always in a hurry, so we end up working at a pretty fast pace too. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful about where we stack things so we don't trip. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the screens. It’s not a glamorous job, to be honest. There is a lot of back and forth with getting things printed or cut properly. Some days are just long stretches of making sure everything looks right before it goes out. We have a few regulars who stop by just to chat or check on their orders. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop noticing it after a few months. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just want to get the ads and the prints done so we can move on to the next one. It’s a gritty, real way to earn a living in this city. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there and wait for it to come back so we can finish the day.
