Our office is in Kandivali East, specifically in Thakur Complex. We are up on the fourth floor of the Sanskruti 36 building, in flat 404. It’s a typical Mumbai setup where a residential-style building houses some small businesses too. Newtronic Equipment is mostly about handling the various bits of gear we deal with. The lift in the building is sometimes slow, so we end up waiting a bit or taking the stairs. Inside the office, there’s usually a lot of paperwork and some samples of the equipment we handle. It’s not a massive warehouse, just the main spot where we coordinate everything. Thakur Complex is always busy, so there’s plenty of noise from the street below. We get to the office early to beat some of the Mumbai traffic, which is never easy. Most of our day is spent on the phone or tracking orders on the computer. We have a small pantry where we make coffee. It’s a practical space. We don’t have any decorations on the walls, just calendars and maybe a map. Working in Kandivali means we are close to a lot of other businesses, which is handy. We keep things simple here. We come in, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It’s a small team, and we’ve been in this flat for a while now. Everyone knows where things are kept, and we just keep the business moving. There’s always plenty to do.
