Our office is on the 3rd Floor on Walton Road, right in the Dana Bunder area. If you know Mumbai, you know Dana Bunder is all about goods and transport. It is a very active place with trucks and porters everywhere. We are right in the thick of it. The building is an older one, and the stairs are a bit narrow. We have been operating from here for quite a while now. It is a simple office with old wooden furniture and stacks of logbooks. We do not have computers for everything; some things we still write down by hand. It feels more reliable that way sometimes. The room is often filled with the sound of fans and people talking loudly over the noise from the street. We handle roadway transport, so there is always someone coming or going. We drink a lot of tea throughout the day to stay sharp. It is a bit of a gritty environment, but that is the nature of the transport business. We do not have a fancy waiting room or air conditioning that works all the time. Customers just come in, sit on the bench, and we discuss the routes. It is a very direct way of doing business. No one wears a tie here. We are just regular people making sure the goods get where they need to go. It is hard work, but we are used to the pace of Walton Road.
