Neutech Fabricators

Neutech Fabricators is basically a workshop down here at 43/44 New Darukhana. We’ve been at this spot on the 1st Main Road for a long time now, right across from Ganesh Bhuvan Hotel. If you walk by, you’ll probably hear the noise before you see the place. There is always some welding going on or someone cutting through metal sheets. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially during the summer, but we just keep the fans running and get on with the work. The floor is usually covered in metal scraps and dust, no matter how much we try to sweep it up at the end of the day. People come to us when they need something specific made out of iron or steel. Sometimes it’s a small frame and other times it’s something much bigger that takes up half the shop floor. We aren't a big factory or anything fancy, just a few guys who know how to handle tools and get the measurements right. Most of our regulars know us by name and just drop by to see how their order is coming along. We spend a lot of time drinking tea from the stall nearby while looking over drawings. It isn't a glamorous job, your hands stay dirty most of the day and there is always some machine that needs oiling. But we like being part of the 1st Block neighborhood and seeing things get built from scratch.
