Nehal Clinic

Nehal Clinic is based in the Dilkush Building, specifically flat number 4 on plot 32. We’re right on S.V. Road in Santacruz West. It’s a very busy part of Mumbai, so the street noise is something we just live with every day. Being in a building like Dilkush makes it feel more like a home than a cold office. We’ve set up the flat to work for our patients. There’s a waiting room where the balcony used to be. It’s a small operation, really. Most people from around Santacruz West know S.V. Road, so they don’t have much trouble finding us once they get to the building. We see people for all kinds of general health things like fevers or coughs. It’s often just one or two of us working here at a time. The files are mostly kept in big metal cabinets along the wall. We try to keep things moving so people aren't waiting too long in the flat. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have fans going to keep the air moving. It’s a practical little clinic that’s been part of the local scene for some time now. We aren’t trying to be a big hospital, just a place for regular checkups. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people have to take the stairs. We keep some water in a dispenser for anyone who’s thirsty. It’s just a normal clinic in a normal building.
