We are located in the B.E.S.T. Colony over on Dr. S. S. Rao Road in Parel. If you know Mumbai, you know how cramped and busy this area can be. Neela India Pvt. Ltd. is just a small outfit operating out of a regular building here. It’s K 10, if you’re looking for the door. Most days involve a lot of climbing stairs and dealing with the humidity that never seems to leave the city. We do our work, handle the paperwork, and try to keep up with the pace of Maharashtra life. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls; it’s more of a place where people are actually working. We have a lot of files, a few computers, and a lot of phone calls coming in. Lunch is usually something quick from a nearby stall or a tiffin brought from home. We’ve been in this spot for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot. Parel used to be all mills, and now it’s different, but we’re still here doing our bit. We don’t really do fancy presentations or meetings. We just talk to people, figure out what they need from us, and try to get it done by the end of the day. It’s a bit chaotic sometimes, but that’s Mumbai for you. The rain during monsoon season usually leaks through the front window, so we keep a bucket handy. It is just normal life here in the city.
