Naved Cards

Naved Cards is run out of Qureshi House, which is located right near Nayab Apartment. It’s a family-run thing, and we’ve been doing this for quite a while now. Our shop is filled with samples of wedding cards, business cards, and all sorts of heavy paper. It smells like ink and glue in here, which we’ve grown to like over the years. We spend a lot of time helping people pick out the right colors and fonts for their invitations. It’s a big deal for them, so we try to pay attention to all the little details. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed during the busy wedding season when everyone wants their cards at the exact same time. We just put in the extra hours and get it done. The shop isn't very large, so boxes of paper are usually stacked up against the walls. We don't have a professional designer with a fancy degree. We just have years of experience doing this by hand and with our old machines. It’s a local business through and through. We know the people in the neighborhood and they know us. We don’t have a big marketing plan. Most of our customers come because their brother or neighbor got their cards here and was happy with them. We just try to make sure there aren't any typos before the ink dries. It’s simple, honest work that we enjoy doing every day.
