Blessing Health Solution Ltd. is based at No. 193 Backbay Reclamation in Nariman Point. Even though it is a well-known part of Mumbai, our office is pretty straightforward and unpretentious. We are up in one of the older buildings where the elevators are sometimes a bit slow and the hallways are narrow. Inside, we have our desks and computers set up for the daily tasks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at files. The view of the water is nice, but most of the time we are too busy to really look at it. We keep a small pantry area for making coffee and tea because the days can get quite long. It’s a professional environment but it feels more like a small family office than a big corporation. We don’t have marble floors or glass walls. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the traffic downstairs is so loud we have to shut the windows tight to hear each other. We manage a lot of different things from this one spot, and there is always a stack of documents waiting for a signature. People come in for meetings and we just pull up whatever chairs are available. It’s a practical workspace in a busy city, and we just try to keep things moving along steadily without any unnecessary drama or flashiness.
