Narendra Hassanand is situated in Shop No 14 within the Malad Shopping Center in Malad West. To find us, you just head behind the Masjid and look right opposite Metro Shoes. It’s a busy little corner of the mall. We’ve been in this spot for quite a while, and the shopping center has become like a second home to us. Our shop is packed with goods, and sometimes it’s hard to see the walls because of all the stock. People come in looking for specific items, and we usually know exactly which pile it’s hidden in. The area is always full of shoppers, especially on the weekends when everyone is out looking for deals. We hear the sounds from the Masjid and the noise from the main road all day long. It’s a very lively atmosphere. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the inventory. We spend a lot of time chatting with the other shop owners nearby about how business is going. It’s a tight-knit community in the shopping center. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People just know where we are and come back when they need something. We just keep the doors open and wait to see who walks in next. It’s a simple, honest way to work in Malad.
