Nakoda Marble

We have our shop in Matunga West, specifically in the Kalyani society. It's shop number 2. If you know where the Sion Hospital is, we aren't too far from there at all. We're on 60 Feet Road, near the 16th Cross and the Gopalappa Layout. It's a bit of a mouthful of an address, but it's where we've been for years. We deal with marble all day long. The shop is full of slabs and pieces we've collected over time. It gets a bit dusty and messy, but that’s just how it goes when you work with stone. We’ve been in this exact spot for a long time. The neighborhood has changed quite a bit since we opened, but we stayed put. We get all sorts of people looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors. We don't have a big sales pitch or a fancy showroom. You just come in, look at the stone, and see if it works for what you need. It’s heavy work, moving things around, and my nephew helps out with the lifting when he's around. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the trucks to arrive. The 60 Feet road is always noisy with all the trucks and cars passing by. We're used to the sound by now. It’s just a practical business, nothing more. We stay until the sun goes down and then lock up for the night.
