You can find us at 70 Princess Street. It’s an old part of the city, and our building fits right in with the others. When you walk in, you can usually smell whatever we’re working on that day. It might be something floral or maybe something more spicy like cinnamon. We deal with fragrances and flavors, so it’s a bit of a sensory experience here. It’s not a laboratory you’d see in a movie. It’s more of a practical workshop with shelves full of glass. We have jars and bottles everywhere. Some are for testing, and some are ready to go out to customers. We’ve been at this for a long time now. We know our scents and how they mix. It’s a bit of a family feel in the office. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for working and getting things done. The street outside is always crowded with people and handcarts, which makes deliveries a bit of a challenge sometimes. We just make it work. We try to be careful with the stuff we mix up. It’s interesting to see how a small bottle can change the smell of a whole room. We don't make a big fuss about what we do. We just focus on getting the blends right. It's a messy business sometimes, with spills and strong odors, but we enjoy the process.
