We are up here on the first floor of the Scholar Building. Most days it’s just us sitting at the desks and dealing with whatever paperwork comes in that morning. Being on Dr N C Jawale Marg means there is always some noise from the street outside. Cusrow Baug is right there, so we see the same faces walking by every day. The office isn't very large. We have a couple of old chairs and some filing cabinets that have been here since we moved in. Sometimes the fan makes a clicking sound, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs if you aren't used to it, but it keeps us moving. We start pretty early most days and stay until the work is done. It gets bright in the afternoons when the sun hits the front window. We usually just have our tea and get through the list of things to do. There isn't much to say about the place other than it’s where we spend most of our time. People stop by to ask for directions sometimes because they get lost looking for the different units in the building. We just point them the right way and get back to what we were doing. It’s quiet enough for us to work but you still feel like you’re part of the neighborhood. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. We keep the files organized the old way because it works for us.
