Myself

I run things from my place at B 105 in the Indira Apartment complex in Govandi East. It’s not a big corporate office, just me and my setup in a room that serves as my workspace. Mumbai is a crowded city, and Govandi can be pretty noisy, but I’ve gotten used to the sounds of the traffic and the neighbors. I go by "Myself" because that’s exactly what it is—one person trying to keep everything organized and moving forward. My desk is usually covered in notebooks and a couple of mugs that I haven't cleared away yet. I handle a variety of tasks from here, mostly things that require a lot of focus and quiet time, though quiet is hard to come by sometimes. Living and working in the same spot means the lines get blurred, but I don't mind it much. I can start early in the morning before the rest of the building wakes up. I don't have a team to manage or a boss to answer to, which has its own set of challenges. Some days are slow, and I might spend too much time looking out the window, while other days I’m working late into the night. It’s a simple life in Mumbai 88, and I’m just trying to make a go of it on my own terms. No fancy titles or big offices, just me doing the work I can.
