My Kids Dentist

I started this place in Andheri East near Nahar Amrit Shakti because I wanted to stay close to home and avoid the long commute every day. It’s a small clinic in Ambica Nagar where we spend most of our mornings making sure the chairs are ready and the toys in the waiting area are somewhat organized. Sometimes the kids are crying before they even get through the front door, and honestly, we get it. It’s not exactly a fun place for them to be. We’ve been here for a while now, and the neighbors know us by name. The traffic outside on the main road can get pretty loud, especially around 5 PM, but once you’re inside, it’s mostly just the sound of the equipment and maybe some cartoon music playing on the small TV we have in the corner. It’s not a fancy office with marble floors or anything like that. We have some old posters on the walls about brushing and a few plants that I forget to water more often than I should. Most of our day is spent talking to parents who are worried about their kids' teeth and trying to keep the little ones calm enough to sit still for ten minutes. We keep a stash of stickers in the drawer because that usually helps a bit at the end. It’s just me and a couple of assistants who have been around since the start. We drink a lot of tea between appointments.
