Muzoomdar Associates

Muzoomdar Associates is based in Mumbai at 21 Balaram Chambers on Barrack Road. This is an old part of the city, and the building has a lot of history to it. You can feel the age in the hallways and the way the windows rattle when the wind picks up. We’ve been working from these chambers for quite some time now. Our day starts early because Mumbai traffic is no joke if you’re late. We handle a lot of legal and associate work, which means our desks are usually covered in files and heavy books. The 400 020 area is quite central, so we are close to a lot of other offices and courts. We don't have a modern, sleek office with neon lights. It’s more about wooden cabinets and old ceiling fans that hum all day long. People come to see us for advice or to get their documents processed. We try to be as straightforward as possible with everyone. There is a lot of walking back and forth between different departments in this area. Sometimes we grab a quick snack from the street vendors downstairs when the work piles up. It’s a demanding environment, but we’ve grown to love the rhythm of Barrack Road. We are just a group of professionals who have been doing this for years. We know the ins and outs of the local paperwork and how to get things filed properly without making a big deal out of it. It’s steady work in a fast city.
