Our small office is located in Mulund West, near the Mantralaya area. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but it’s a good way to start the day. Mukesh N Shah is mostly just a one-room operation with a couple of desks pushed together. We don’t have a lot of staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything. There’s usually a radio playing softly in the background to fill the silence while we work. We have cabinets full of files that go back many years. It’s a lot of manual work, checking numbers and making sure everything matches up. We don't have a fancy computer system, just what we need to get by. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it stays fairly quiet during the day compared to the city center. We get our tea from a guy who comes around with a kettle twice a day. It’s the highlight of the afternoon. Sometimes we have visitors, but usually, it's just us and the paperwork. We don't really do much in the way of marketing or big presentations. If someone needs something, they usually just call us up or stop by the office. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we don't see any reason to move elsewhere. It’s comfortable and familiar. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay on top of the pile of work on our desks. There's always a new stack arriving before we finish the old one.
