Moti Marbles

Moti Marbles is situated right on Link Road in Goregaon West, specifically near Bhagat Singh No-2. If you know this area, you know how much dust and noise comes from the constant stream of traffic passing by. Our yard is filled with stacks of stone that we move around using the old crane when needed. It is a physical kind of job. We spend a lot of time outside, regardless of whether the sun is beating down or it is pouring rain during the monsoon. The office is just a small corner where we keep the books and take phone calls. People often stop their cars along the road and walk in just to look at what is currently in stock. We don’t have a big showroom with bright lights. Most of the slabs are leaning against each other in the open air. You have to walk around them carefully so you don’t trip. The guys who work here have been doing this for years, so they know how to handle the heavy stuff without making a fuss. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things quiet down for a few minutes. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We just focus on keeping the inventory organized and helping the folks who wander in from the street. The location is convenient for locals, even if the parking on Link Road is always a bit of a gamble.
