Mother Land Box

Our place, Mother Land Box, is tucked away near Zaveri Bazar on Agiary Cross Lane. We are in the Fakhri Manzil building on Abdul Rehman Street, which is one of the busiest streets you’ll ever see. There are carts and people everywhere, all day long. We make and sell boxes of all kinds, and our workshop is usually filled with the smell of glue and cardboard. It’s a bit of a maze inside with stacks of boxes reaching up to the ceiling. We have to be careful not to knock anything over when we move around. It’s not a fancy showroom, just a place where we work hard to get things done. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. Sometimes the delivery trucks can't even get down the lane because it's so narrow, so we have to carry things out by hand. It’s a lot of physical work, and our hands are usually stained with ink or adhesive by the end of the shift. We don't spend money on marketing because the people in the bazar already know where we are. If someone needs a specific kind of box, they just come and ask. We don’t have a website or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have in front of us and try to get them finished before the day ends. It’s honest work in a very busy part of the city.
