You can find us in Mulund West, down Pardeso Galli in the Amar Nagar area. It’s one of those narrow lanes where parking is a nightmare, but we’ve been here for a long time. Our shop is full of all kinds of lab equipment. We have glass beakers, test tubes, weighing scales, and all those things schools and hospitals need. It’s a bit of a jumble inside. We try to keep things organized, but when a big shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere. It’s mostly just us packing orders and checking for cracks in the glassware. The humidity in Mumbai isn’t great for some of the metal tools, so we have to be careful. Customers come in looking for specific things for their experiments, and we spend time digging through the shelves to find exactly what they need. It’s not a shiny corporate office. It’s more like a storage room where business happens. We know most of the delivery drivers by name. Sometimes we have a quiet day where we just sit and do inventory, and other times it’s a mad rush to get everything out. We don’t do big ads. Word of mouth usually brings people to our door in Mulund. It’s a small, practical business run by people who know their equipment. We just do our best to get the orders right. If a glass flask breaks during shipping, we just have to deal with the loss and move on.
