Miracle Granites & Marbles

We've been here at Rajabali Compound for quite some time now, just tucked away near the Sion Bandra Link Road. It’s right next to that T-Junction police booth, which most people use as a landmark when they’re trying to find us for the first time. The yard is usually full of slabs, granite and marble mostly, all leaned up against each other. It gets pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up off the road, but that’s just how it is with stone. We spend most of our days moving pieces around so people can see the patterns properly. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really backed up and the noise of the horns comes right into the office. It’s not a fancy place, just a workspace where we keep our stock. We’ve got a small crew here. Mostly we just deal with the local builders and folks from around Sion who are fixing up their kitchens or floors. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up during breaks. There’s always a lot of heavy lifting involved, and your hands stay pretty rough from the stone edges. We don’t really do much besides keep the inventory organized and make sure the deliveries go out when they’re supposed to. The rainy season makes things a bit messy in the compound, but the stones look nice when they’re wet. It’s just us here, working through the daily pile of orders and making sure the gate stays clear for the trucks.
