Milonirich Food Corporation

We operate from the second floor of Mangal Kunj, which is the B/4 wing. The building is right on S.V. Road in Borivali West, so it is a very familiar landmark for anyone living in this part of Mumbai. Being on the second floor means we are a bit removed from the noise of the main road, but you can still hear the buses and horns if the windows are open. This is where we handle the food corporation side of things. It is more of an office and storage setup than a storefront. We have stacks of papers and various samples around the place most of the time. S.V. Road is always packed, so getting deliveries in and out requires some good timing and patience. We have been in this spot for a good bit now. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have a lot going on, but we make it work. Most of us have lived in Borivali or nearby for years, so we don't mind the commute too much. We don't really do much in the way of decoration; it’s mostly just functional furniture and cooling fans. It is a practical environment for a food business. We spend the day checking orders and talking to suppliers on the phone. Sometimes the monsoon makes the entrance to Mangal Kunj a bit slippery, so we have to be careful coming in. It is just a regular day-to-day business life for us here.
