Meghdoot Oil Mills Pvt. Ltd.

We are located over at Jivdaya Lane in Ghatkopar West. If you know the area, it is usually pretty busy with people moving around and trucks trying to navigate the narrow spots. Our place is in Jekunwar Niwas, at number 2. We have been running Meghdoot Oil Mills from here for quite some time now. It is not one of those shiny new offices you see in the papers. It is a working mill. You can smell the oil as soon as you get near the door, which I guess is a good sign that we are actually doing something. Most days start early before the sun gets too hot because the machines give off their own heat too. We spend a lot of time just checking the presses and making sure everything is moving right. There is always some maintenance to do or some bags to move around. It gets a bit loud when everything is running at once, but you get used to it after a week or two. Sometimes the neighbors come by just to chat or ask for a bit of help with something, and that is how it goes around here. We just focus on getting the oil out and making sure the containers are filled up. It is simple work, really. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of manual stuff and keeping an eye on the clock to make sure we finish the batches on time. We have seen the lane change a lot over the years, but we are still here.
