Marble Enterprises

You can find us over in Goregaon West at the Shankar Compound. It’s located in Bimbisar Nagar, right near the Ram Temple. Working at Marble Enterprises means we deal with a lot of heavy stuff and plenty of dust every single day. The compound is an old industrial kind of place. It’s not the sort of spot you’d visit if you were wearing your best clothes. We have stacks of stone and different materials all over the place. The sound of cutting and polishing is pretty much the background noise of our lives. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights. Most of our business happens right there on the ground, where we show people what we have in stock. It’s a tough job and your back usually aches by the time five o'clock rolls around. We’ve been in this location for a good while, so we know all the other business owners in the compound. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the orders we have to finish. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow entrance, which causes a bit of a headache. We don't bother with much marketing or social media. People just know where the Shankar Compound is and they find their way to us when they need something. It’s an honest way to make a living and we take pride in the actual physical work we do.
