We've been at the Samikaran Building in Vile Parle East for a while now, running Maple Gourmet And Industries. It’s a busy spot near Ratan Pole, and we occupy offices 5 and 6 on the ground level. Most days start early here because there is always a lot of paperwork and orders to sort through before the heat gets too bad. We deal with food products and industrial stuff, which keeps us on our toes. The space isn't huge, but we make it work with desks squeezed in and samples of what we handle lying around. People often get lost finding 34/B, but once they see the bank nearby, they usually find us. It’s just a regular group of us working here. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big lobby. Usually, there is a lot of tea going around and the sound of the printer running. Some of our staff have been here since we moved into this Vile Parle office. We just handle the day-to-day things, making sure deliveries go out and the books are kept straight. It’s noisy outside with the traffic, but inside we just focus on getting the work done. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new shops opening up and more cars on the road every month. It’s a practical place to work, nothing too flashy, just a solid routine that we follow from Monday to Saturday until the shutters go down.
