Manoj L Rawani

I’ve been working out of this flat in Khasuda Kutir for a long time. It’s in Bandra West, right near Mount Mary Church, which is a nice landmark for people who haven't been here before. Living and working in the same building has its ups and downs, but it’s mostly just quiet. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and the neighborhood is pretty good compared to some other parts of the city. I handle various things under my name, Manoj L Rawani, mostly just paperwork and helping people out with their requirements. My desk is right by the window where I can see the people walking up the hill toward the church on Sundays. It gets a bit noisy then, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the birds and the occasional car. I don’t have a big staff or anything, just myself and sometimes a helper to run errands or go to the bank. The flat is full of books and files that I’ve collected over the years. I try to keep it tidy, but sometimes work gets in the way. It’s a comfortable spot to be. You have to buzz the bell at the gate sometimes because the watchman is away, but he’s a good guy. Most people find me through word of mouth, so I don't really bother with advertising. It’s just me doing my work in a place I’ve called home for decades. The weather is nice here because of the sea breeze nearby.
