Malpani Eye Hospital

You can find us over in Santacruz West at the Chirag Housing Society. We are in unit G 6. The society is right on S V Road, which everyone knows is a very busy street. Khira Nagar is the specific pocket where we are located. It’s a residential area but with a lot of shops and businesses mixed in. Being in a housing society makes it feel a bit more like a neighborhood spot. We walk through the main gate every morning. The space inside G 6 is set up with all our eye testing gear and chairs. It is not a massive hospital like the ones in the city center, but it works for what we need to do. The walls are mostly white and we have some basic benches for people to sit on while they wait. S V Road is always noisy with cars and rickshaws, but once you step inside the society gates, it gets a little quieter. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases and making sure the equipment is covered when not in use. The light coming in from the front windows is usually quite bright in the afternoon. We know the security guards at the gate and the people who live in the flats above us. It is just a normal daily life here. We show up, do our work, and keep the place running. It’s a simple place for our neighbors to visit.
