Sico Vinyl (p)ltd has its home in Sico House, which is located in the Swastik Compound on Chincholi Bunder Road. We are in the Rambagh area of Malad West. This part of town is very industrial, and there are always trucks and vans moving in and out of the compound. We have been here for a long time, and the building itself is a bit older, but it serves our purposes perfectly. We work with vinyl materials, so there are always rolls of different colors and thicknesses stacked up in the warehouse area. The smell of the material is quite strong, but we don't even notice it anymore. Our office is just a small section partitioned off from the main floor. It’s not fancy at all. We have some old desks and a lot of samples lying around. We don't spend any time on marketing or trying to look corporate. Most of our customers know us personally and they just come straight to the compound when they need something. It’s a lot of physical work, moving those heavy rolls around and making sure the orders are packed correctly. The noise from the other businesses in the compound is constant, but it’s just the sound of people getting things done. We take our work seriously but we don't feel the need to be formal about it. It is just how we have always operated.
