Tinka Stones Pvt. Ltd. is located right inside the Siddiqui Compound over on RS Marg in Pathanwadi. If you know Malad East, you know it can be a bit of a squeeze getting around the narrow roads sometimes. We have our space here where we keep all the stone slabs and blocks. It’s a heavy job, so there is always a crane or someone moving things around carefully. The ground is usually covered in a bit of stone dust, and the guys are always wearing their boots. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls, just a practical yard and a small room for the paperwork. People come by to see the patterns in the stone because pictures don't really show the true colors. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit muddy in the compound, but work doesn't stop. We have a few regulars who have been buying from us since we started. It’s a lot of physical labor, lifting and loading, but it’s honest work. We try to keep the stock organized but when a big shipment comes in, things get a bit crowded for a day or two. The neighborhood is always alive with people and other small businesses nearby. We just do our part here, making sure the stone gets where it needs to go without any cracks or issues. It’s what we do every day. Most of us have been working with stone for years now.
