Maharudra Granites

Maharudra Granites is located right at No.1 on the Western Express Highway side of Vile Parle East. We are in the Ganesh Society area, specifically on N M Joshi Marg. One of the easiest ways to find us is to look for the Parle Subway because we are right opposite that. Being this close to the highway means there is a lot of traffic noise, but it makes it easy for the big trucks to bring in our granite slabs. We spend our days dealing with heavy stone. Each piece has its own pattern and weight, and moving them takes a few of us working together. The shop floor is usually a bit cool because of all the stone, which is nice when it gets hot outside in Vile Parle. Most people who come in are looking for kitchen platforms or flooring. We show them what we have in stock and tell them how it might look once it is cut and polished. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk and chairs near the back where we handle the paperwork. Sometimes we have to shout a little to be heard over the vehicles outside on the road. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something to move or a slab to inspect for cracks. We’ve been here a while and know the local neighborhood pretty well now. It is a solid place to work.
