Maha Food

Maha Food is located right at 50 Fort Tikampura, which is right next to the Residency. If you know the area, you know it’s always packed with people moving around. We’ve been here for a bit, and our kitchen is pretty much the heart of everything we do. It’s not a huge place, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when we’re preparing a lot of orders at once. You can hear the sounds of the street outside all day long. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or anything like that on the walls. We mostly just focus on the food and making sure everything tastes right before it goes out. The morning starts early for us, usually before the sun is even up, so we can get things ready for the lunchtime rush. We know a lot of the people who work in the offices nearby, and they often stop in for a quick chat while they wait. It’s a lot of hard work, standing on your feet all day and dealing with the heat from the stoves, but we’re used to it by now. Some days the delivery truck is late and we have to scramble to get things finished, but that’s just part of the business. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We’re just a local spot in Tikampura trying to feed people some good meals. It’s noisy, hot, and busy, but it’s our life and we wouldn't have it any other way.
