M. S. Forging Works

You can find M. S. Forging Works down in Mazagaon, specifically at Kulsum Manzil on Dockyard Road in Navanagar. This is an old part of town with a lot of history in metalwork and shipping. Our shop is right in the middle of it. Forging is a tough business and it gets very hot in the workshop, especially during the summer months. We have the big hammers and the furnaces going for most of the shift. It is loud and heavy work. We handle various types of forging jobs for different industries. The building we are in has seen better days, but it is sturdy and serves its purpose. We don't have a fancy showroom. If you come to see us, you will see men in aprons working with hot metal and heavy tools. We have been here for a long time and the neighborhood knows us well. The proximity to the dockyard is useful for a lot of the work we do. We don't use much technology for the sake of it; we stick to the methods that have worked for years. It is an honest way to make a living. We aren't interested in sounding corporate because that is just not who we are. We are just a local forging shop doing our daily bit in Mazagaon, keeping the fires going and the hammers hitting. It is hot work but it pays the bills.
