M S E D C L is basically the local electricity office team for our area. You might see names like Vishal around here, and if you need to reach out, those weird email addresses like the rediff and yahoo ones are what we actually use every day. It’s a bit old school, but it’s how we keep track of things. We handle the power stuff, checking why a line went down or why a bill looks a bit off this month. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but somebody has to do it. The office is usually a bit cluttered with old reports, tangled wires, and maps of the local grid. We don't have a proper street address listed here because most people just find us through these contacts or by asking around the local area. It gets very busy on Mondays when everyone realizes they forgot to pay something over the weekend. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity; we are just the folks making sure the lights stay on and the meters are read more or less on time. Sometimes the internet is slow, so those emails might take a few minutes to get a reply. We just sit here, drink our chai, and try to sort out the electricity issues for the local community. It’s a lot of manual logging and talking to people who are often frustrated about their power cuts. We do what we can with what we have.
