M K Interior

M K Interior is based in Andheri East 19. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets with all the traffic and people. Our space is mostly filled with samples of wood, paint swatches, and measuring tapes. We spend a lot of time out at job sites, so the office is often empty during the middle of the day. When we are here at number 19, we are usually sketching out ideas or talking to suppliers on the mobile. It is a bit cramped with all the catalogs and floor plans lying around. We do not have a big fancy lobby because we would rather be out working on a project. Andheri East is a good spot for us because we can get to different parts of the city fairly quickly. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but we keep moving. It is just a small team of us who like putting things together and fixing up spaces. We are not really the type to use big words or corporate slogans. We just look at a room and figure out what needs to go where. The floors here at our place usually have a bit of sawdust on them. It’s a practical workspace for people who work with their hands. We just keep it simple and focus on the next job. We don't worry about being perfect, we just worry about getting the measurements right and making sure the wood fits.
