M J Packaging

M J Packaging is located in the Vallabhji Hirji Building. We are on Vallabh Baug Lane in Ghatkopar East, Mumbai. If you’ve ever been to Ghatkopar, you know how packed the streets are. Our building is an old one but it has character. We have boxes stacked up high everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We spend the day cutting, folding, and taping. It’s a lot of brown paper and cardboard. The humidity in Mumbai doesn't help much, so we keep the fans on high. It’s a busy atmosphere with people constantly coming in to pick up their orders. We don't have a lot of space for a proper office, so we just work among the stock. The name of the building is a bit of a mouthful, but locals know it well. We have been here for years and the routine hasn't changed much. We drink a lot of tea to keep going. There’s always a delivery truck waiting outside on the lane. We have to be quick with the loading. It’s not a fancy job but it’s what we know. People around here are friendly enough. We just focus on getting the packages ready and out the door. It’s just a typical Mumbai small business vibe. We like the hustle of the area.
