Lloyd Millier

Our place is over in Santacruz East, specifically at A 204 in the Kaveri Chs. It’s right by the Vakola Bridge, so we hear the traffic hum all day long. Mumbai 400055 is a fast place, but inside the society, it feels a bit more settled. Lloyd Millier is what we go by, and we’ve been operating out of this spot for some time. It’s more of a residential-style setup, which makes it feel less like a cold office and more like a place where real work happens. We have desks squeezed in where they fit, and there’s always a kettle going for tea or coffee. It gets quite humid here, especially during the monsoon, so we spend a lot of time making sure everything stays dry and the papers don't get ruined. We handle our accounts and our clients right from here. It’s not a huge operation, just a few of us making sure everything is handled. People find us because they know the bridge and they know the building. We don't have big signs outside or anything like that. We just do our bit and keep moving forward. Sometimes the elevators in the building are a bit slow, so we take the stairs if we are in a hurry. It’s just part of the daily routine. We like the neighborhood, it has everything we need close by and plenty of places to grab a quick snack.
