We are based in Dadar West, right at B 2 10 Samruddhi on Bparulekar Marg. Being in this part of Mumbai means there’s never a dull moment. The street is always packed with people and cars, and you can hear the city humming all day long. Our office is a bit of a sanctuary from all that noise, though it still feels very much part of the neighborhood. The space inside isn't huge. We’ve had to get creative with how we fit the desks and the storage cabinets. It’s a bit of a maze of paper and computer monitors. We’ve been here for several years now, and the building has become very familiar to us, including all its little issues like the occasional leaky pipe or the flickering lights in the hallway. We manage the local projects for Larsen Toubro Ltd from here. Most of us take the train in, so the location near the station is really the best part for the staff. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a big boardroom. Usually, if we need to talk, we just gather around someone’s desk or go to the small kitchen area. It’s a very practical way of working. Sometimes we stay late when a deadline is coming up, and you can see the lights of Mumbai through the grime on the windows. It’s just a normal office for regular people trying to do a good job. We try to keep it simple and focus.
