Larsen Toubro Ltd Mumbai

Our office is tucked away in Flat No D 303 over at Kamal Park in Mumbai. If you know Mumbai, you know how everything is basically built on top of each other, so being in a residential-style building is pretty common for smaller setups like ours. It's a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like, but that’s just life in the city I guess. We are in the 400068 area. The space inside is basically just desks and computers crammed into the rooms. It gets a bit tight when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. Most of us take the local train or a bus to get here, so the first half hour of the day is usually just people cooling off and complaining about the crowd during the morning rush. When it rains, the whole street gets messy, but we just dry off and get to it. We don't have any flashy signs or anything on the outside. It’s just a door with a small nameplate if you look closely enough. We’ve been operating out of this flat for a good while now and it feels like a second home to some of the staff. We eat lunch together in the small kitchen area and just try to get through the pile of work we have. It’s not a glamorous place, but it’s where we are and what we do. Not much else to it, really.
