Goyal Stones

Our place, Goyal Stones, is right near the Maharashtra Weigh Bridge. If you know where the Luxury Bus Garage Compound is on LBS Road in Sion Kurla West, then you’ve probably passed us. It’s a hectic area with all the traffic and the trucks going to the weigh bridge. We’ve got our yard tucked in near the Maharashtra Kata. It’s not the quietest spot to work, but it’s practical for getting the stone out to customers. We mostly deal in natural stones, the usual stuff people need for building houses or fixing up offices. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. Most of the day is spent out in the yard checking the inventory or helping someone pick out a slab that isn't cracked. The sun gets pretty hot out there on the LBS Road, so we stay under the shade when we can. It’s a family-run kind of setup. My uncle started it, and now we just keep it moving. We see a lot of regulars, mostly local contractors who know exactly what they’re looking for. They don't want a sales pitch, they just want to know if we have the stock. We usually have a good mix of colors, but it depends on what the trucks bring in. It's a bit of a mess sometimes with all the stone off-cuts piled up, but we know where everything is. Just come by the garage compound and look for us.
