Down here in Andheri East, things move pretty fast. We are located in 10 B 36 Takshila, right on Mahakali Caves Road. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, 400013, and the street outside is almost always crowded with autos and people heading to work. Our spot in Takshila isn't hard to find if you know the caves road. Inside the office, it’s just a normal setup. We have our desks, some old files, and the usual coffee machine that works when it feels like it. Kpmg has been in this building for a bit now. It’s not a shiny skyscraper, but it gets the job done for us. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare during the rains, but everyone in Mumbai deals with that. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and we’re there working. The Mahakali area has a lot of energy, and we’re right in the middle of it. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just focus on the day-to-day stuff that keeps everything running. It’s a practical place for practical work. Some of the windows look out over the street, so we see the city moving all day long. It’s loud, it’s a bit messy, but it’s where we are. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s just a regular Mumbai day for us. We keep a small fan near the window too.
