Koolman Engineers

We’ve been based here in Andheri East for a while now, right in Ashiana CHS. It’s a busy spot, but it works for us. Mostly we handle engineering stuff, keeping things running like they should. It’s just a handful of us working out of flat 406. Some days it gets pretty cramped when we have parts laying around everywhere, but we manage. People stop by sometimes asking if we can fix this or that. We mostly deal with cooling and mechanical stuff. It isn’t some fancy office with a lobby. It’s just where we do our paperwork and plan out the jobs. The neighborhood is loud, being in Mumbai and all, but we’re used to the traffic noise by now. We just focus on the work at hand. Usually, we are out at sites anyway, so the flat is mostly for the back-office bits. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just try to get the engineering bits right so the clients don’t call back with problems. Sometimes the tea stall downstairs is where we end up having our meetings because it's easier than crowding the desk. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been part of the local scene here for a good bit of time. It’s not about being the biggest or anything like that, just about being here and doing the work every day.
