About Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital – Medical & Healthcare in Mumbai
This entry is for Room No. 5, which is a specific part of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. It’s just one room among many in this massive building, but it’s where we do our daily work. Finding it can be a bit of a challenge if you’re not familiar with the layout of the hospital, as there are so many corridors and wings. Once you get to the right section and find the door with the number 5 on it, you’ve arrived. Inside, it’s a compact space. We have a desk, some chairs for the patients and their families, and whatever equipment is needed for that day’s tasks. The room doesn't have much of a view, maybe just a glimpse of another wing of the building through the window. It’s a quiet spot compared to the main lobby downstairs. We spend most of our hours here, seeing one person after another. The walls are a plain color, and the lighting is the usual hospital fluorescent type. It’s a very functional room. We don't have any personal photos or much clutter, just the files and the computer and the medical supplies. Even though it’s just one room in a huge complex, for the people who come here, it’s the most important part of their visit. We try to keep it tidy and ready for the next person as soon as the previous one leaves. It’s just a small corner of a very large institution.
