Kmo English School

Our school is located over in Nahur, which is a bit of a quieter pocket compared to some other parts of Mumbai. We’ve been operating here for quite some time, focusing on the kids in the immediate neighborhood. It’s an English medium school, so we spend a lot of time on reading and writing. The building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where the children come to spend their mornings and afternoons. You won’t find any big marketing signs or glossy brochures here. We just open the doors and get to work. Most of the families walk their kids to the gate, or they come from just a few streets over. It’s very much a local Nahur establishment. The classrooms are basic, with the usual blackboards and rows of wooden benches. We try to keep things organized, though with children around, there’s always a bit of healthy chaos. The teachers are locals too, mostly. They know the families and the challenges of living in this part of the city. We don't make big promises or use fancy words. We just teach the lessons and make sure the kids are safe and learning. It’s a straightforward way of doing things. Sometimes it’s hot, sometimes it’s rainy, but the school routine stays the same year after year. We like it that way, just being a reliable part of the local community. It is a humble place, but we take the teaching seriously enough.
