If you find yourself on Nagdevi Street in Santacruz East, you’ll see Gwens Apartment. We are right there at Shop No 6. Khaza Optics Contect Lens Clinic is a small place but we keep a lot of stuff inside. There are frames on the walls and those little machines we use to check how people are seeing. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when a few people come in at once, especially on a busy Saturday. Nagdevi Street is always moving, so there’s a lot of noise outside the door. Inside, we have our lens cases and the solutions lined up. It’s not like a big mall store; it feels more like a local shop where you can actually talk to someone. We spend a lot of time helping people figure out how to put their contact lenses in without poking their eyes, which can be tricky for beginners. The floor is tile and we try to keep it clean, but the dust from the street always finds a way in. We’ve got the Gwens Apartment sign right above us to help people find the way. It’s a simple clinic. We just look at eyes and try to get the lenses right so people can see better when they walk back out onto the street. It’s a steady job and we’ve been at it for quite some time now. We don't have a lot of ads, just the shop on Nagdevi Street and the Ka section.
