Our place is on L.B.S. Marg in Mulund West. We are right near the Bal Rajeshwar Temple, which is a very easy landmark for people to find. We work with all kinds of flavours and aromatic compounds here. The building is a bit of a mix between a laboratory and a warehouse. When you walk in, the first thing you notice is the smell. It changes every day depending on what we are mixing up. One day it might be like oranges and the next day it might be something like chocolate or peppermint. It can be quite a lot for your nose to take in. We have a bunch of lab technicians and workers who handle the large drums of ingredients. L.B.S. Marg is always full of traffic, so the sound of horns is constant. We have been in Mulund for many years and have seen the area grow. Our office is just a few desks near the front door. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It’s a practical workspace where we focus on getting the ratios right. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch. It’s a bit of a specialized trade, but we enjoy the variety of it. We don't have a big corporate vibe here. It’s more like a group of people who know their stuff and just get on with it every day.
