Vihan Granites & Marbles

You can find Vihan Granites & Marbles over in Kandivali East at Shivalik Tower on the 90 Feet Road. We are situated quite close to the Thakur Polytechnic, so there are always students walking by and plenty of buses humming on the road. Our workspace is filled with slabs of heavy stone. Granite and marble take up almost every inch of the floor. It is a physically demanding business because everything we handle is massive and fragile at the same time. You spend a lot of energy making sure nothing gets chipped or scratched during a move. The fine dust from the stone tends to get on your clothes and shoes no matter how careful you are. We use units 1005 and 1006 for our daily operations. Being on 90 Feet Road means there is a constant sound of traffic and horns all day long. We show people the different grains and patterns in the stones we have on hand. Every slab is unique, which is probably the most interesting part of what we do. We do not have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know how to handle stone. Sometimes we have to go out to various sites to check on things or help with measurements. It is tiring work, lifting and shifting these heavy pieces, but we are used to it. We have been in Shivalik Tower for years and the rhythm feels right.
