Avishi Opticals

Avishi Opticals is tucked away in No. 5-a of the Ashiana Co-operative Housing Society. We are located in Asha Nagar, right behind the Saldham Temple in the Thakur Complex area of Kandivali East. It is a nice, quiet neighborhood for the most part. Since we are inside a housing society, we get to know our customers really well. They are usually our neighbors or people who visit the temple nearby. We spend a lot of time cleaning lenses and adjusting the little nose pads on glasses. The shop isn't very large, but we have enough room for a good selection of frames and the testing equipment. We like the location because it feels more like a community than a shopping mall. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s slow and talk to the people passing by. The building is older, but it has a lot of character. We keep the shop bright so people can see how the frames look on their faces. It’s a simple business where we just try to help people see a little better. We don't have any high-pressure tactics or anything like that. Just come in, try some glasses on, and we will help you out with the rest. The rainy season makes the path to our door a bit muddy, but we try to keep the mats clean for everyone coming in.
