Kamdars Eye Clinic

Kamdars Eye Clinic is located right by the Vakola Bridge in Santacruz East. We are on Nehru Road, and a good landmark is Seema Marbles, which is very close to us. The 400055 area is always buzzing with activity because of the bridge and the main road. Traffic is almost constant, so there is a lot of noise outside our door. The clinic is a modest space. We have been here for years, watching the neighborhood change around us. Inside, it’s just a basic setup with a couple of rooms for exams and a small area for people to wait. We don't have any high-end furniture or polished floors. It’s a working clinic. The walls are filled with shelves of files and various pieces of equipment we use every day. We spend our mornings cleaning the lenses and making sure the chairs are in the right spot. Being near the bridge means we get a lot of soot from the cars, so we have to wipe everything down pretty often. Most of our patients are people who work nearby or live in the old societies in Santacruz. We don't do any big advertising. We just have our name on the board outside. It’s a simple operation, run by people who have lived in this part of Mumbai for a long time. We just keep doing our thing every day.
