Kamdars Eye Clinic

Kamdars Eye Clinic is tucked away in Pal House on Bhandarkar Road. If you know Matunga East, you know it’s a place where people really value their local spots. We have been working here, looking after people's eyes for quite some time. The building is an older one, but it feels like home to us. Being in the 400019 area code means we get a lot of neighbors coming in, people who have lived here for decades. We aren’t a big hospital or anything like that. It’s just us in the clinic, doing the tests and checking prescriptions. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit full on Saturday mornings, but we do our best to keep things moving. Matunga has a certain feel to it, and we like being part of that. We see kids who need their first pair of glasses and older folks who have been coming to us for years. It’s mostly about just being there and doing the job right. We don’t have any big signs or loud ads. People mostly find us by walking past or hearing about us from a friend. We spend our days in the clinic, focusing on whatever person is sitting in the chair at that moment. It's quiet work mostly, which is nice given how busy the streets outside can get. We just want to make sure everyone leaves seeing a bit better than when they came in. Our focus is just on the vision of the local residents here.
