Kambeshwar Marble & Stone

Down here at Plot 43 in the Hiranandani Business Park area of Borivali West, we spend most of our day surrounded by slabs of rock. Kambeshwar Marble & Stone has been our life for a while. We have all sorts of marble and different stones stacked up. It is dusty work, honestly. When you work with stone, you just accept that your clothes will never stay clean. People come by looking for stuff for their kitchens or floors. We show them what is in the yard and tell them how it looks once it is cut. We do not have a glossy showroom with bright lights. It is more of a practical setup where you can see the actual material. Sometimes a shipment comes in and it is a bit of a mess to organize, but we manage. Borivali is a busy place, and being in the business park at plot number 4 means we get a lot of local folks stopping in. We are not designers, we just know our stones and what holds up well. If you want something specific, we try to find it in the pile. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get heavy. It is a small team, really. We just try to keep the inventory moving and make sure the measurements are right so nobody gets a slab that does not fit. It is hard work, but seeing a nice piece of marble go out to a new home is alright.
