Kamal Marbles

We are based at Plot No. B/1 in the Vijay Vihar Society, which sits right across from the Sandu Bros building on Sion Trombay Road. It is a busy location with cars and trucks constantly passing by, so there is always a lot of movement right outside our door. Most of our space is taken up by different types of marble that we try to keep sorted by color and size, though it usually gets a bit jumbled when we are busy. Being on Sion Trombay Road means we see all kinds of people stopping in while they are on their way somewhere else. The society area is nice and it feels a little more settled than some of the bigger industrial zones. We are not a big corporate company, just a local business where we recognize many of the people who walk in. On any given afternoon, you will probably find us moving slabs around with the trolley or cleaning up the small stone chips that break off during handling. It is mostly manual labor and staying on our feet. We don't have a fancy showroom with bright lights; what you see in the yard is exactly what we have available. Sometimes we run out of room and have to stack things pretty tight. It works out okay for us, though. We just stay focused on being here when someone needs to pick out a slab for their house. It is a simple way to run things.
